ENT RADIOFREQUENCY Services
RF Turbinate
It is suitable for patients with blocked nose as a result of turbinate hypertrophy. RF will shrink the turbinate significantly and re-establish the patent nasal airway. This will not only relieve nasal obstruction, and in cases, significant improvement in snoring can result.

The procedure can be performed in clinic under LA and completed within a few minutes under endoscopic guidance.

Improvement will be seen in 2 weeks.

RF Soft Palate
In some cases, RF soft palate can help those who have snoring and mild obstructive sleep apnea by stiffening the soft tissue in the soft palate, hence less vibration and more patent airway and less snoring.

This procedure could be performed in clinic under local anesthesia and completed within a few minutes. Pain and bleeding is usually not expected. Uvular ulcer formation is rare.
RF Tongue Base
This is the latest application of radiofrequency technology in patient suffering from snoring and obstructive sleep apnea particularly with obstruction at tongue base and hypopharyngeal level.

This procedure could be performed in clinic under local anesthesia and completed within a few minutes. Pain and bleeding is usually not expected. Symptoms improvement would be expected to occur after the series of procedures completed.
Coblation Tonsillectomy
This is the latest application of radiofrequency technology in performing tonsillectomy. This employ s very low temperature plasma field and allows perfect tissue cutting and coagulation effect in performing tonsillectomy.
