Dr. May Poon

Leading Speech Therapist (registered) and Service Coordinator

Dr. May M. W. Poon was awarded Ph.D. & B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing Sciences) from The University of Hong Kong, and M.Sc. (Health Care) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. May has practiced as speech therapist in a number of public hospitals, non-government organizations, special schools, and mainstream schools. Since 2003, May has joined ENT Laser Hearing and Speech Therapy Centre, developing her expertise in voice therapy, swallowing rehabilitation, and professional training. May is now the leading speech therapist (registered) and service coordinator, and is responsible for service development and clinical supervision of the whole team.

Miss Natalie Cheng

Senior Speech Therapist and Counsellor

Ms Natalie Cheng has attained BSc Speech & Hearing Sciences and MSocSc Counselling from the University of Hong Kong. Natalie joined the family of ENT Laser Hearing and Speech Therapy Centre since 2006 and she has been developing her experts in the aspects of speech and language training, swallowing therapy, play therapy as well as parent-child education. Natalie has just become a full time mom. With a professional background in both speech and language and counseling, she will devote more interest in training children with special emotional needs and providing consultation for parents to enhance parent-child relationship.

Mr Archie Cheng

Senior Speech Therapist 

Mr. Archie Cheng completed his B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing Sciences) Degree in The University of Hong Kong (HKU), and was awarded the Best Clinical Performance Award by the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists. He further completed the M.Ed. (Inclusive and Special Education) Degree with Distinction in HKU. He has worked as a Speech Therapist in local non-government educational organization, and joined the team of our Centre in Year 2007.

Archie is certified in providing professional therapeutic techniques, and is experienced in delivering Cantonese, English and Mandarin Speech Therapy service to clients with various needs, including speech and language difficulties, voice disorders, oral-motor and swallowing difficulties. He is also a certified provider of the cognitive intervention program Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE).

Miss Cora Lee

Senior Speech Therapist

Ms. Cora C.Y. Lee graduated with Bachelor of Sciences in Speech and Hearing Sciences (Hons.) from The University of Hong Kong and Master of Social Sciences in Applied Psychology from The City University of Hong Kong (with distinctions). After graduation, Cora has been practiced as a speech therapist in various settings, including private clinic, SCCC, EETC, DSTT, special school, mainstream primary and secondary schools. Cora is experienced in training and management of children and students with different kinds of special needs, including autistic spectrum disorder, attention deficit, hearing impairment, developmental delay, dyslexia and etc. Cora joined our clinic in 2008, where she continues her service for children, adolescents and adults with needs. Besides intervention in oral language, Cora is interested and experienced in training of reading and comprehension of written Chinese.

Miss Isabella graduated from The University of Hong Kong and attained B.Sc. (Hons) Speech & Hearing Sciences and M.S.S.(Distinction) Counselling.She has been working in various non-government organizations, special schools and mainstream schools since her graduation. Isabella joined the ENT Laser family since 2008 and further develops her expertise in speech therapy and voice therapy. Isabella enjoys promoting professional knowledge of speech therapy to the public. She has been invited to write newspapers articles, speak in broadcasting programme and train children, parents and professionals in workshops held by various organizations.Isabella then further pursued her studies in the Master programme (Counselling) in the University of Hong Kong and expands her interest in counselling and play therapy. She hopes with her expertise in speech therapy and counselling, she can integrate the theories and her experiences in providing tailor-made service to children and elderly in need.

(Hons) Speech & Hearing Sciences and MSS Counselling.  She joined the ENT Laser family since 2008 and further develops her expertise in speech therapy and voice therapy. Joyce further expanded her interest in counselling and play therapy, in order to promote a more holistic treatment to children’s mental health development in addition to their speech and language development. She has been invited to write newspapers articles, speak in broadcasting programme and train children, parents and professionals in workshops held by various organizations. She hopes that children can gain optimal benefit from therapy by integrating theories and experience in different expertise in speech therapy and counselling. Miss Joyce has always been interested in different languages. Besides Cantonese, English and Mandarin, she has been learning Korean for over 4 years. She hopes her interest in different languages would help more people who are in need.

 Miss Maggie Wong

Senior Speech Therapist 

Miss Maggie graduated from The University of Hong Kong and attained B.Sc(Hons) Speech & Hearing Sciences. She joined ENTLaser family since 2008, and provides speech and hearing therapy services for various populations including individuals with articulation disorders, communication disorders, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and oral-motor weakness.

After graduation, she acquired continuous professional trainings related to speech therapy. By integrating different approaches, Miss Maggie is determined to execute tailor-made and optimum management plan for different individuals. Apart from being a speech therapist, Miss Maggie has taken up a leading role in an adventure-based learning centre. She enjoys adding creative thinking elements into theoretically-based therapies, so as to bring brand-new stimulations and maximize the effects in the therapies.

Ms Ellen Chan has attained M.Sc. in Educational Speech-Language Pathology and Learning Disabilities from Hong Kong Institute of Education, and also attained M.A. in Communication and B.A. in Humanities from Hong Kong Baptist University. She has gained valuable clinical experiences working in child clinic, Early Education and Training Centre, special school, public hospital, rehabilitation center and elderly home. Ellen joined the ENT Laser family recently. Miss Gladys L. K. Fan completed her Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) in Speech Science at the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom). During her study, she worked with children and adults with speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties in a range of settings including preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, special schools, health centre, rehabilitation centre and hospital. Gladys joined ENT Laser after graduating from university. She works with Cantonese, English as well as Mandarin speaking population. She strives to provide high quality care to her clients.

Miss Yuki Choi

 Speech Therapist 

Miss Yuki Choi has earned her Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from Sydney University and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist in Australia. She has gained practical experience working with children and adult from different linguistics background in a range of environments, using English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Before pursuing her study in Australia, Yuki gained her Bachelor degree in English from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with a focus in Linguistics. She is especially interested in language analysis and is committed to provide individualized communication intervention for each client.
Yuki’s practice philosophy is to empower clients and their families to maximize their potential. She aspires to work collaboratively with caregivers and other professionals to ensure therapy is enjoyable and the goals are functional across a range of life experiences.

During her study, she worked with cases in pediatric clinic, Neurogenic Communication Disorder Clinic, mainstream kindergarten and primary schools, rehabilitation centres, public hospitals and old-age homes. Phoebe joined the ENT Laser family upon graduation. She works with Cantonese, English and Mandarin speaking population.
